Custom Rods
At Causeway, we've been building "custom" rods for many years. Custom rods are exactly what the term states... CUSTOM BUILT... to YOUR specifications! We'll assist you in choosing the correct rod blank for your application but YOU choose the colors and styles of the wraps, the type of guides and grips and WE will measure you out and ensure that the rod is layed out so that it fits YOU perfectly! Guide placement, reel seat placement and spline alignement are crucial factors when building a custom rod.... and THIS is where we apply over 3 decades of experience!! Although we usually maintain a small stock of "cookie cutter" surf rods, we also maintain inventory of Lamiglas and Cal-Star blanks and often build on St. Croix blanks as well. Stop in and ask questions.... there is nothing like fishing with a rod that is tailor made... for YOU!
