Conveniently located at the gateway to Jones Beach, Causeway Bait & Tackle has been serving the Long Island fishing community for over 70 years and has been family owned and operated since 1984. Causeway is affectionately known as "The Biggest Little Tackle Shop" on Long Island because Our 1,000 square feet is bursting with more than 10,000 fishing related products to suit all your fishing needs.
Whether you are a first time fisherman or an advanced angler, here at the online division of Causeway Bait and Tackle you can get anything or everything you need for fishing. We carry thousands of items from todays top manufacturers such as Penn, Shimano, Shakespeare, Abu Garcia, Berkley, St. Croix, Daiwa, Fin Strike, Gamakatsu, Seeker, West End, Bomber, Sekora, Eastaboga and many more. For salt or freshwater, surf fishing, bay and boat fishing, Causeway, with its full line of fresh and saltwater tackle is the stop for you.
Keep in mind that our inventory is constantly changing so if you do not see something you are looking for, be sure to stop back or email us with your requests. Custom orders are never a problem at Causeway.
Our store hours vary, depending on the time of year. We will update the hours on our site when we change. Currently we are open: Monday - Saturday 5:00am to 6:00pm Sunday - 5:00am to 4:00pm

...I walk into Causeway Bait and Tackle Shop, located on the mainland, but not more than a few miles from locations in the bay where Billy and I have demolished the bass on numerous occasions.
