This section will be dedicated to any and all types of fish. We will provide information about the species including some history about the fish, where to catch them, their habitats or homes, how to catch them and more.

Some of the local fish on Long Island which can be caught in the Long Island Sound, Great South Bay and Atlantic Ocean are blue fish, blackfish, snappers, striped bass, fluke, flounder, porgies, bunker, a variety of sharks, tuna, sea bass and many more. We want to hear about the types of fish you catch around your neck of the woods or water. Email us and have your “fish bio” added to the site.
