Top Ten Striped Bass Spots
April 8th, 20081- The West Bar, in the inlet.
2- The East Bar, in the inlet.
3- The Big Meadowbrook bridge (aka, the third Meadowbrook)
4- The Swift Creek Bridges (this is the second Meadowbrook and / or the first Loop Parkway bridge).
5- Haunts Creek… the southern end towards the State Channel.
6- The third Wantagh (the southern most bridge)
7- The eastern entrance to Zachs Bay. On the south side of the State channel, there is a decent sized hole right at the entrance to Zachs.
8- Black Banks.
9- Reynold Channel, just east of the golf course.
10- Bulkhead Drain.
All of these spots produce fish, using just about ANY method. Some can vary depending on tides and wind but all in all, these are with no doubt, some of the most consistent areas in our bay!
Go get em!

Suffolk huh…. wow, there are soooooo many good place to fish out there. The first couple places that come to mind are Plum Gut, The Race, Montauk of coarse and Shinnecock Inlet. What part of Suffolk do you soend most of your time fishing? How far east are you?
