We just received our first delivery of these new reels and they are NICE! These reels feature a Titanium spool lip for ultra smooth casts, drilled spool skirts for drainage, sheilded bearings to keep that sand and salt out of there and on the 6000 size and up they have the Dartanium Drag Washers!!

In addition, Shimano has a MANUAL BAIL CONVERSION kit for the 14000 and 18000 sizes… THE ONLY reels on the market you can convert to a manual bail now!

We think the larger sizes especially, will make great reels for the surf fishermen and even Tuna fishermen!
