Some pretty decent reports have been coming in from the south shore beaches this morning. Sounds like from first light, on, there were mostly Bass with some Bluefish mixed in along the beaches anywhere from West End 2 to Tobay.

We had a few reports from West End, a few reports from Field 6 and reports from Tobay. Although there were some fish being taken on Bunker it sounds like the plugging was better.

Joe, from the shop, was at Tobay at first light and had Bass (even a couple keeper sized) on small yellow and white needlefish and also on A17′s with white tubes. Tins seemed to be the ticket down there this morning.

It wasn’t blitz fishing but a nice, steady pick of fish the whole time.

We also had similar reports from yesterday morning… same deal at first light. Hopefully this is the start of some good things to come!!
