Striped Bass Season Ends Monday December 15th… so get while the getting is good!!

And there has been some “good getting” at Breezy Point the past couple of days! The surf in our area has been slim pickings, with an ocassional fish every here and there. Participation has really dropped off now too, so there aren’t many people bringing the reports in to us. Between the colder weather and the Holidays, many people have hung it up, but for the few that ventured out… to the west… it has payed off.

Breezy has been alive with Bass, with some keeper sized fish in the mix too. Sounds like there is a ton of herring down that way and the Bass have been chasing them up and down the beach.

Blue/White Pencil Poppers and Little Neck Poppers have been reliable as well as the Point Jude Nautilus Tins!

This isn’t going to last long, so get in on it while they’re still there!!
