Some better news on the North shore this weekend! Little Neck Bay has been consistent for schoolies, using small lures, sandworms and even fresh bunker. This is typically one of the better places to fish early in the season!

We heard from our customer Nick Palesty, who fished Tappan Beach Saturday night. Nick fished the outgoing tide in the dark and caught over 25 small Bass on Bomber’s and Bucktails. He said there was a breeze from the Southwest and when the wind changed directions and came out of the East, the fishing was OVER!

We also heard of a few fish coming from Manhassett Bay now too, and these have been some bigger fish too. Sounds like there has been plenty of Bunker in there, so the Bass have been chasing them. If you’re headed up there… don’t forget to bring some snag hooks with you!!
