For the boaters, things have slowed to a crawl. What little action we’ve heard about has been from the West Bar… Clam Chumming. We’ve had a couple reports from people that have been along the beaches looking for jig fishing… , but even that has been quite slow. Not too much happening for those that have been trolling though.

A few fish have been reported in the inlet on Eels too, again, nothing spectacular but there are a few fish to be caught.

We haven’t heard of any Herring in our area yet but we’re hopiong that once they show up we’ll see some improvement in the fishing.

The weather reports look good for the next few days and into the weekend so we hope to have more to report!
