Striped Bass Reports – Long Island South Shore – 11-15-08
November 15th, 2008For the boaters, things have been a little slow, most likely due to this terrible weather, however, there are still a few fish around. The West Bar has been decent, although it has been extremely crowded, making it hard to find a place to fish. Clam Chumming on the bar seems to be the best bet, especially on the outgoing tides.
The inlet area has been giving up a few on Eels too, again on the outgoing tide and the bridges are holding a few as well. The faster the current is these days, the better the action has been.
There a some people plugging the back bays with some sucess too, although it doesn’t seem to be in full swing yet. The bites have been a little slow and conditions have made plugging a little difficult.
As things improve, we’ll try to keep you updated!
