The striped bass fishing has stayed consistent with plenty of fish being caught at the bridges and deeper banks. Clam chumming has produced a few keepers in the mix. The Big M, Wantagh Parkway 2nd Bridge, and Wantagh Parkway 3rd Bridge are holding fish. There have been reports of stripers in the… Black Banks and State Channel as well. The West Bar has seen some fish but it’s been very inconsistent. There have been some reports of bunker in the ocean but no good reports of bass on them.

On June 1st, John Brady landed a 26.75 lb. striped bass while fishing the Keri Lee on a clam bait.
