They’re Here!!!

But, they are going to be hard to catch yet… they’re still pretty small. We’re hearing reports of the Snappers in most of the canals now and in many back bay creeks. We would say give them another week or two and they should be just right to start catching.

When they’re still small like this, try using small hooks like a size 8 for example… with small pieces of Spearing for bait. Another fun way to get them is by using small Sabiki type rigs… this way you can catch more than one at time too!

Don’t forget though… we’re only allowed to keep 10 per person, per day!!
