Fishing the ocean bottoms of Long Island is still going strong. There have been plenty of sea bass being reported in 50 to 80 feet of water. We recommend using clams on the hooks. Although the size of the sea bass is starting to diminish from what we saw a week ago, there have still be reports of enough keepers to keep everyone happy. If winds permit, try drifting areas such as the Hempstead Reef and McAllister instead of anchoring.

Tight lines and keep those reports coming. Email us at info@causewaybaitandtackle.com subject: Fishing Report.
