The Trout are in the Twin Lakes and should be in Massapequa Reservoir shortly!

We just had a customer call from North Twin Lake, here in Wantagh, who watched the truck put them in the pond! These fish will usually bite IMMEDIATELY and the first ferw days they’re in the lake are usually insane.

For lures, GOLD, GOLD and GOLD color lures are the way to go… like any of the small Gold Kastmatsers, Pheobe and Sidewinder’s.

For Baits, you’re best bet wouls be a small hook about 18″ to 24″ below a float or bobber. Waxworms and Nightcrawlers are typically the best bets.

Don’t wait long to go because once word is out that the fish are in… it gets VERY crowded and as people take them home there are les and less of them to catch.

Remember, you NEED A NYS FRESHWATER FISHING LICENSE and you can ONLY TAKE 3 FISH PER DAY PER PERSON!

Go Get Em’ !
