Generally you do not want weather out of the east, southeast or northeast. The east and southeast winds dirty up bays and increase tides currents especially outgoing. A lengthy northeast weather pattern can just put the fish off their feed if it is long enough. So in general fair weather and light to moderate westerly breezes will produce the best fishing.
