In 2008, many things took place at the “Biggest Little Tackle Shop.” We completely redesigned the shop (located in Wantagh, NY at 3031 Merrick Road) to better accommodate you, our customers. We created an easier way for customers to find their favorite fishing tackle online and offered some of the best prices on the internet. Our most recent addition, was our fishing blog.

Our fishing blog allows us to speak freely about the fishing world and what takes place around the Long Island waters and waters afar. We enjoy providing updated fishing reports and information to anglers like you, who have fished the local waters for hundreds of years and helped us provide some of those reports. Other information can be found here including inventory updates, fishing news, product reviews, fishing articles, how to fishing articles and fishing tips.

One of our main objectives when adding the blog to our site was to encourage visitors and users to participate. We want to give you a voice and share your knowledge, stories and experience with others. We want people to interact and share their views and opinions; sparking debate, indifference’s and even common understandings. Overall, we want this fishing blog, this playground, to be one of the frequent online hangouts for novice fisherman to avid anglers share and gather information and pass it on to the generations to come.

We recently received an email from a devoted fisherman expressing his “utmost thanks” for bringing the shop online and adding a blog to where he can share his views. People appear to love our online store including the fishing tackle section. “All of your products are easily viewed in this section,” says Joe L.

Although our blog is still new, we have received positive feedback from many. We have also received emails with recommendations and ways to improve this playground. We have a long way to go but your contribution helps us move forward. As always, we appreciate the kind words and recommendations. Without our visitors and users, we would not have anything to talk about.

In the end, we want you to have a great experience and tell anglers alike about your new online spot. We also want to hear what you have to say about our fishing blog. Do you have a story to share? Do you have a topic to recommend? Don’t hesitate to email us at info@causewaybaitandtackle.com and we’ll gladly consider your advice or even write an article based on your suggestion.
