Well, were a little late in reporting but the season is well underway. The trout fishing although not as good as when first stocked, is still pretty good. Even though the local ponds have been stocked TWICE, the trout fishing has been quite slow. We had one report from Twin Lakes yesterday… Don Heller fished from 6:45 am to around noon…. with ONE hit. The Trout are in the Twin Lakes and should be in Massapequa Reservoir shortly! We just had a customer call from North Twin Lake, here in Wantagh, who watched the truck put them in the pond! Considering that the fishing in the salt water hasn’t really started yet, the lakes and ponds have been producing some action for those who try.
