Our friends from Tow Boat Photos have several photo galleries of you while you are out on the water. They offer several ways for you to search for you boat and you may purchase pictures from their site. Take a look around and see if you can find a boating picture to hang on your wall.
“Ziggy” Sokolowski caught this beast of a bass on the night of 10/25/09 at the Jones Inlet using live eel. This monster weighed in at 43 lbs, 13 oz. Good catch “Ziggy!”
This Black Drum weighed in at a wopping 63.84 pounds!
Recently caught by Gary Kaminksy and Mike Catalano, this black drum was caught while trolling between Debs and Jones Inlet. Gary and Mike were using a Clark Spoon. This monster weighed in at 63.84 pounds and is one of the largest fish we’ve weighed in this year!
WOW…. A HUGE FLUKE for Tom Schwender and the biggest Fluke we have EVER weighed here at Causeway! This fish was weighed in almost 24 hours after it was caught. For those not familiar with what happens after you keep a fish, they start to de-hydrate after they die… so this fish was probably CLOSE TO 15 POUNDS when he landed it!!!
In Tom’s own words….
“I was Fishing with fellow Freeport Tuna Club members Bob Sabella, Charlie Goldstein and Dick Moreo aboard Dick’s boat the “Kathy O” in 50 feet of water outside Shinnecock Inlet. We were using the famous “Jigs Rigs” (which are no longer available since Jigsy passed away… R.I.P. Jigsy) except I put a SPRO Bucktail on the bottom of my rig. We knew this was a big fish and lucky for us, our ex “NBA Star” Charlie Goldstein used his LONG arms to put it in the net. As the fish and the net hit the deck he bit the jig off! He almost got away!”
Sorry for the terrible picture… BUT… This is the BIGGEST Cobia EVER weighed in at Causeway Bait and Tackle!
Bob Rose, fishing with Brian Rose and Mike Hindenline, was fishing FLUKE FISHING in 45 feet of water, south of Jones Inlet when this Cobia bit his Fin Strike Pink and White Fluke Rig. This fish was weighed on 8-13-08.
