Well…. Flounder season is off to a slow start, as expected. Mother nature hasn’t been very cooperative, with 50 mph gusts and rain on opening day and more wind today.

BUT, we had one customer just stop in and tell us he jad a few keepers yesterday, fishing in the mouth of one of the canals in Seaford. He caught his on Bloodworms and chumming with clam chum and mussels.

A second customer stopped in shortly after that and reported a few keepers this morning in Milburn Creek in Baldwin. These fish were also caught on Bloods while chumming with clam chum and mussels too. By the way… just for the record… this spot is one that we mentioned in our “Top Ten Flounder Spots”!

With the rotten weather, we haven’t had many people even going out but it looks like we’ll get a little break the next couple days.
