Good news, things seem to be SLOWLY, but steadily, improving. It’s not great fishing yet but there have been more fish caught these past few days there have been in a number of weeks now. With the early close of the Fluke season, everyone is has been bottom fishing for Seabass and Porgies and many people are getting some Blackfish mixed in. The bottom fishing has slowed a little, probably because of the full moon we had but we would expect things to pick right up again. In the bays, there have been plenty of fish around the bridges and piers although they seem to be smaller than they have been. This happens every year though, the keeper sized fish get caught up and it slows to a slower pick… but the action typically remains steady.
